Investigating the Meaningless

by HAMMOND GUTHRIE

If the FCC can begin investigating
Janet Jackson’s right nipple nonsense
why not investigate what President Bush
was speaking ‘about’ when he recently said:

"What we don’t know yet is what we thought,
and what the Iraqi Survey Group has found,
and we want to look at that,"

considering the network’s penchant
for filling US television screens
with sexually enhanced advertising.

If the White House can begin investigating
its own pre-Iraq war intelligence nonsense
why don’t they investigate who President Bush
was speaking ‘of’ when he recently said:

"We want to look at our war against proliferation,
and weapons of mass destruction,
kind of in a broader context,"

considering the administration’s rapacity
for enhancing US nuclear arsenals
with recycled uranium tipped bombs.
